Madie's Trim

Papa keeps trimming my fur...sometimes it looks weird in between trims cuz he doesn't finish all the way but it gets a little better each time. I just put up with it though.

Little Gin-Gin

I'm losing my puppy teeth now but I got a couple left, Mom and Papa call them snaggle teeth and call me snaggle tooth, also shark teeth...

I'm cute...at least that's what they say when I look at them...

They always say Ginger! Gin-Gin! Puppy! So I say...

What?

What!?! Oh I'm cute? That's all you wanted to tell me? Oh.

Playing with Ginger

Well here's vid of me playing with Ginger! At first when she came home I didn't know what to make of her, but NOW I kinda like having her around! She's fun to play with! So I take some time everyday to play with her. I'm teaching her tug, chase, and wrestling!

Mom likes to take pics of me she says I'm cute!!! I love to do clicker training it's really fun!!! Oh and my other ear became a pricked ear too when I got around 10wks old!!!

I also like to go outside, it's really fun and I like to play with Madie too!!!

Mom's been taking lots of videos of us getting used to each other and playing, but she's been slacking in putting them up here on our blog!!! She uses the excuse that a puppy takes up a lot of time but you know what I find time to nap so if I find time to nap she can find time to help us blog!!! Jumping Foxtails!!!

I like to go out and 'splore the back yard but everytime I go out there I come back in with these foxtails all over me!!! I don't know how it happens they just jump on me!!!

Then I have to let Mom or Papa check me to get them out!!! I don't want them to get in my skin and have to have surgery again like last year that was icky!!!

There's always a big pile of them after Mom or Papa pick them all out! And this pile isn't even as big as it can be!!!
Dumb jumping foxtails...I wish they would leave me alone!!!

My Second Day

Hi everybody here is some photos of my second day in my furever home! My sister started to like me better and she started to play with me a little bit!

I also got to go to a human's birthday party and meet people!!! I got to meet all kinds of people it was really fun! I only have a couple photos of people I met but I met a lot more

I liked this lady a lot too and I napped on her lap I was really sleepy after meeting so many people!

Then later on at home I played some more I really like my little blue hippo it's just my size!

Hi! I'm Ginger!

Hi I'm Ginger and here are some photos of my first day in my furever home! This is my Mom! I was so excited when I got out of the kennel and I crawled all over her and sniffed and licked and they took lots and lots of photos because I moved so fast it was hard to capture a photo of me!

It was SO fun!!! Oh my goodness I got to see all kinds of new things and meet new peoples!!!

THEN after all that wiggling around I got sleepy so I took a snuggly nap in Mom's lap!

Then when we got to my new home I got to meet my new sister Madie and I love her but she's not sure about me yet. I think she doesn't know what to think about me but hopefully she will play with me soon.

Hey check out this new bed Mom and Papa got!!! What do you mean I'm just a little too big for it??? What??? Isn't this for me?

No my butt doesn't hang over the edge...I fit just fine, this bed has to be for me, how could it not be?

Mom's been making Fabric Flowers for Us!

Hi everybody, Mom's been making Fabric Flowers for us!!! They are pretty huh! But I don't like to have a big one on me so she made me a smaller one like Ginger's and I'm okay with it because it doesn't bug me, otherwise I'd protest and say no thank you I don't want it...but if I can't feel it then it's okay!

This one's Gingers, it's super tiny tiny, Mom and Papa say she's gonna be littler than me, so it makes me wonder if Mom and Papa call me their Little-Little will they still call me that when Ginger's Little-er? Maybe they will call her the Littler-Little and I'll still be the Little-Little?

And these ones are "baby" kind and that makes me wonder will I still be Baby? Maybe I'll be Baby and she'll be Puppy? What do you guys think?

My little sister Ginger

Here's an updated photo of my new little sister, my Mom laughed when she saw it and said she's really cute! She looks really sleepy to me and wow it looks like she'll have pointy ears like China did! OH yeah and my Mom is getting ready for Ginger to arrive too she's been reading her favorite puppy books (Before and After You Get Your Puppy) and starting to invite people over to help socialize Ginger (fringe benefits for me I get to meet people too!!!) she's supposed to meet 100 different people by the time she's 12 weeks old!!! I'm super excited for that too cuz that's a lot of people!!!

I'm getting a little sister!

Lookie Lookie I'm gonna get a little sister!!! She was born on 7 Feb. 2010 and will arrive April 9th! AND my Auntie Joyce is getting a puppy from the same litter too so that is really cool! You can visit her blog here: My Little Ember! My little sister is a Pomapoo and she's only going to be 5-6 lbs and her name is going to be Ginger because my Mom really really loves ginger she gets stuff from The Ginger People, AND she loves Ginger Rodgers the actress who dances really pretty!!!

Very Bad News

Hi all, I haven't updated China & Madie's blog for a while been really busy with moving, settling and having my sister visit. China and Madie really enjoyed her here too they love their Auntie. Well when we came home from the airport late on Tuesday we found China with a severe injury. It's a nightmare to come home as normal and then find a furbaby injured! She had wood impaled in her leg, about and inch thick and 4 inches long. We don't know how she did it we think she was chasing something and got her leg stuck somehow in the gate and freaked out and yanked her leg with the wood. Anyway when we got home the blood was all dried on her too so we don't know how long it had been. We took her to an Emergency Vet but because the injury was so bad (jagged and dried) there wasn't very high chances of it recovering and amputation was possible. China would have hated that, she is the temperament that if she doesn't have all four legs she would get really depressed and miserable, so we made the hard decision to let her go. We've been crying ever since and still in shock. It's so painful to loose a loved one she was special, and always was near me she would even get up if I went to the restroom or just a few feet into the kitchen.
Madie doesn't realize that her sister is gone yet.
We will miss her dearly, she was a huge part of our lives for 9 years.
